For the fourth year running, the council has announced there will be no increase in price, with the cost of the service remaining at £35 per bin for the 2021 collections.

Subscribers to the service will also receive an extra collection at no extra cost.

As part of an ongoing pilot, the 2021 garden waste service will commence earlier than in previous years resulting in residents receiving 19 collections instead of 18.

The additional collection will take place in March, and is shown on the new WLDC resident’s calendar, which have been delivered to homes over the last couple of weeks.
